Chorey-lès-Beaune “Les Beaumonts” 2022 is a ripe, approachable Pinot Noir shaped by Burgundy’s very warm 2022 growing season, which delivered generous fruit and good maturity. It shows a bright red colour with vivid berry aromas—blackberry, blueberry and blackcurrant accented by floral notes such as peony and violet—along with a supple palate, balanced acidity, and silky tannins. In most bottlings it is enjoyable young, especially with a brief decant, yet has enough structure to age well for several years. As a village-level wine, it offers good value and easy drinkability rather than the depth and power found in higher-tier Burgundy appellations.
